Mixed Input
By Default: Input Mode is set to Automatic and the game will switch input methods alongside UI, but Controller or Keyboard/Mouse Input modes can be forced.

Using a Game Controller or setting Input Mode to Controller only is required in order to switch button icons
Additional Information
Larian Launcher can't be fully navigated with a game controller, but it can be bypassed via --skip-launcher launch command.
