I recommend using B as your confirmation button. ABXY have been remapped according to Nintendo's button layout. Tapping START/PAUSE is Start and holding it is Select. Double-tapping Z is the Dash Toggle like LS, and holding it down changes ABXY to LS, LB, RB, and RS respectively. Dunno why you'd wanna use this pad, but be my guest.
