Horrible default controls for sprint/jump replaced by simple LS click which instantly jumps when tilting it in desired direction. Takes getting used to, but helps greatly to reach far platforms and that damned crate in R&D. Also makes jump attacks viable. Sprint available by double tap or holding A.
