For people already familiar with the Steam Controller's touchpads. Simply tapping the pads instead of sliding allows for quicker prep and cooking! Plus, to prevent misinputs, thumbstick clicks are on the grips and LB and RB are switched, so LB handles things on the left and RB handles things on the right.
